Saga Fired

In my search for a technique to find colours that resembled the rusted corrugated Iron of the past industrial architecture in New Zealand and Australia, I came across Sagar Firing. This method of firing work I found really exciting and again to a degree unpredictable. I use lots of different materials that give colour to the work and then fire them in a sagar pot inside my electric kiln.
